INTEGRATIVE BODYWORK
Our Bodies are the homes we never leave. Yet many struggle to feel comfortable and judgement free within these scared vessels. I wonder how it would feel to be fully entrained in body/mind/spirit?
I graduated from the Evergreen School of Healing Arts in Evergreen, Colorado in 1983. It was a magnificent experience - high on a mountaintop in Evergreen, nine of us gathered for a year of growth and learning with several visionary teachers. We learned body work, energy work, nutrition and how to develop our intuition. We worked with healing principles of the Hawaiian Kahunas and other indigenous healers.
Since then, I've explored advanced modalities including Esalen massage, deep tissue massage, reflexology,Lomi Lomi,
Reiki, holographic memory release, and many more. By integrating these techniques to fit your needs and desires, bodywork can reduce muscular tensions that hold and produce physical and psychological discomfort.
Integrative Bodywork incorporates breathing techniques and guided imagery and restores a sense of belonging in our bodies. Our body is the home we never leave, and yet many don't feel at home in their bodies. Let me guide you to that luscious place of peace, contentment and wholeness.
Lomi Lomi, Hawaiian Temple Bodywork, is a nurturing massage based on ancient, shamanic rites of passage. It was originally created to enlighten the being in the physical body. It is a sacred practice that incorporates breath, deep massage and the power of intention. Hawaiian Temple bodywork confuses the thinking mind and weaves love, light and spirit while untangling unhealthy patterns, unraveling old wounds and belief systems. It weaves the conscious with the unconscious and the waking world with the dreaming world. Sessions are 90 minutes in length.
